Message From the President

Thank you to all who attended the Marketplace 2008 and made it a success! Although the weather was not as warm as expected for an April morning in Georgia, a good time was had by all at this year's golf tournament. Congratulations to the following golf award winners:

Best score winning team: Jon Rydel, Charlene Hernandez, Mark Hampton
Closest to the pin: Michael Prevost
Longest drive: Benny Gomez

Monday evening at the new Georgia Aquarium was a successful event as we had one of the best turn outs for an offsite event ever. Everyone enjoyed the delicious buffet by Wolfgang Puck! Tuesday evening's dinner with comedian, Jerry Farber, proved to be great time too as many laughs were shared through out the room.

Join me in congratulating our two newest 2008 Board of Directors, Mike Coyle, Airport Courier Service and Richard Ziemba, ParcelTek. The board and I look forward to working with both Mike and Richard. Serving on the ECA Executive Committee under me, as your president, are the following board members and their positions:

Mark your calendar and plan to join us next year for Marketplace 2009 in Chicago, Illinois, April 14-16 at The Drake Hotel. The Drake has hosted the Royal Family, heads of state, dignitaries, and of course is ready to host you with the ECA in 2009.
