The InterContinental

Polished style in prestigious north Dallas the InterContinental Dallas is in Addison, a northern suburb between central and thriving Frisco and Plano. The Galleria Dallas and Addison's restaurant district are a few minutes away, and the Dallas North Tollway will have you in the city centre in half an hour or less. Must-see stops include the Nasher Sculpture Center and The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza.

Check-In
Hotel check-in is 3 p.m., and checkout is 12 p.m. All guests arriving before 3 p.m. will be accommodated as rooms become available. The InterContinental Guest Service Department can arrange to check luggage for those guests arriving early when rooms are not available and for guests attending functions on departure day.

Hotel Map
The Express Carriers Association will be using many of the facilities at the InterContinental for the meeting, including the Crystal and Lalique Ballrooms. A full conference layout will be available to attendees at Registration.

Accessibility

Dallas is centrally located and within a four-hour flight from most North American destinations. In addition, Dallas Love Field Airport is conveniently located 10 minutes from downtown. Once here, visitors can ride one of the fastest-growing light rail systems in the nation or the historic, free McKinney Avenue Trolley from the Dallas Arts District throughout the Uptown area with its restaurants, pubs, boutique hotels and shops.

Directions and Transportation

Driving Directions
Exit DFW Airport via the North Exit (pay for parking/ toll at exit tollgate) and follow signs to I-635/ LBJ Freeway. Take I-635 East & follow it for app. 10 miles. Start merging right once you've passed Marsh Lane. Take exit 22C for Dallas North Tollway - North. (This is the second exit for the Dallas North Tollway; the first one is for the Dallas North Tollway - South, which is a bit confusing.) Follow the tollway for app. 2 miles, then exit at Beltline/ Arapaho (toll is 40 cents). You are now on Dallas Parkway North. Go straight through the 1st light (Beltline Rd), then stay left and enter the u-turn lane. Make a u-turn at the 2nd light (Arapaho Rd.) to get onto Dallas Parkway South. Go south for 1/2 a block until you see the hotel driveway on the right hand side.
